Yesterday I made three Freedom of Information Act requests to help us find out what’s really going on with Network Rail and Lambeth Council
- Emails relating to Streatham Common Railway Station Estreham Road London SW16 5NT. (Lambeth Council)
- Any and all documents relating to the platform extension work at Streatham Common Railway Station in the London or Country Direction. (Lambeth Council)
- Any and all documents relating to the platform extension work at Streatham Common Railway Station in the London or Country Direction. (Network Rail)
Both organisations have 20 days to respond, I’ll keep you all updated on what happens.
I’ve also spoken to Maureen Smith at Lambeth Council regarding business rate relief, she has agreed to come along to the meeting on the 21st and help the local business make a block application for business rate relief – which is very kind of her, and great news for us.
I then spoke to Michael Anderson at Lambeth Council regarding rubbish collection charges and the removal of the rubbish bins on Streatham Vale. He’s going to forward our enquiries to the right people, and with a little bit of luck businesses will be able to renegotiate their waste collection charges.
